ACCI is a non-profit organization which provides a wide variety of housing, budget and credit counseling services to home buyers, homeowners, and low to moderate income individuals and families. Our counselors provide guidance and advice to help families and individuals improve their housing conditions and meet their responsibilities of home ownership. ACCI also provides education and guidance with other financial challenges like budget and credit counseling, as well as debt management, mortgage default and delinquency. American Credit Counseling Institute endeavors to help improve the lives of persons of modest means, older adults, and those with special housing needs.
ACCI’s counselors have been helping individuals and families since 1994. During that time, ACCI has helped over 15,000 families. ACCI provides counseling to individuals and families, regardless of their age, disability, family status, gender, national origin, political affiliation, race, or religion. At American Credit Counseling Institute, we believe that when a family has its own home – an affordable home that will not be taken away – its members do not need to worry about where they need to move next, which translates into ownership pride, better health, better education, better employment, better family stability, and well rooted neighborhoods with less dependency on others and on government programs, and ultimately a better and stronger nation.
